Kolkata :: KEDGE Business School, the triple-crown accredited French global management school, recently reaffirmed and expanded its India commitment. With an associated campus in partnership with Vijaybhoomi University, India’s first liberal professional university, strengthened their pioneering tie-up with the launch of new programmes that would open doors for Indian talent in the European Union by leveraging the recently signed India-EU Free Trade Agreement and National Education Policy.
This landmark announcement comes at a moment of unprecedented growth in Indo-French educational collaboration, following a major declaration by French President Emmanuel Macron in New Delhi. President Macron affirmed France’s commitment to strengthen educational ties with India, including streamlining visa procedures for Indian students and expanding the availability of industry-oriented academic programs taught in English to make world-class higher education more accessible and student-centric.
KEDGE leadership team recently visited New Delhi. It included Alexandre de Navailles, Director General (CEO) of KEDGE BS, and Dr Céline Davesne, Associate Dean for Programmes and International at KEDGE BS. They were hosted by Sanjay Padode, President Vijaybhoomi University and Chairman of IFIM Institutions. All they highlighted how the recently signed EU-India FTA, widely described as the “mother of all deals,” provides unprecedented opportunities for Indian students and professionals in the EU. By removing barriers across goods, services, and mobility, it encompasses a comprehensive framework to facilitate student movement, academic exchange and post-study work opportunities between India and EU member states.
The KEDGE–Vijaybhoomi alliance launches a new chapter in global education by introducing cutting-edge business programs in India with flexible international pathways. Students will benefit from KEDGE’s global curriculum, experiential pedagogy, industry immersion, and dual-degree options that enable study both in India and at KEDGE campuses abroad. Leveraging favourable policy support, Vijaybhoomi University and KEDGE have jointly launched four new post graduate programs and one undergraduate program to begin with: Global MBA which is a unique three continent program, Blended MBA for working executives, MSc in supply chain, MSc in sports management, and International Bachelor of Business Administration. Graduates from these courses will get preference to work in France/EU. New courses will be added to the course offerings.
