Hemophilia Society-Durgapur Chapter celebrate Women’s Day

BE , Durgapur ::: 8th March, an universal day towards our world and society by Celebrating as a Women’s Day . looking the significance of this special day here in Durgapur also organized some program to felicitated the eminent women personalities. By this Hemophilia Society-Durgapur Chapter at it’s own care center in Durgapur felicited some eminent women personalities of the Durgapur , including Mrs. Anindita Mukherjee, Hon’ble Mayor, Durgapur Municipal Corporation , Dr. Dipanwita Sen, Consultant Gynecologists , The Mission Hospital, Durgapur , Smt. Monalisa Banerjee, DGM & Head CSR, ESSAR Oil & Gas, Durgapur, Smt Ananya Dey, SI, Durgapur Women’s PS, Dr. Anuradha Chatterjee, Specialist in Community medicine, IQ City Hospital.

This felicitation is aimed at recognizing and praising them for their contribution and commitment in different walks of life towards building a vibrant and stronger society and country.
On the occasion, Mrs. Anindita Mukherjee, Hon’ble Mayor, Durgapur Municipal Corporation said that the contribution of women in every sphere of life is immense. They contribute to the lives of their family members as well as the nation .There is no space where women aren’t working and excelling at what they are doing.

Smt. Monalisa Banerjee, DGM & Head CSR, ESSAR Oil & Gas, Durgapur lauded women for their achievements & contributions in different fields. Women’s Day is also for all the mothers who have taken care of their children from the very 1st day and also work for their own family.Women deserve equal opportunities at everything like men. And Smt Ananya Dey, SI, Durgapur Women’s PS, said that there cannot be just a day to celebrate a woman. Every day should be a day where we appreciate, respect, and love all the incredible women.
This unique program was applauded by all the guests and well-wishers & thanked to all the Women’s Group members & volunteers of Hemophilia Society-Durgapur Chapter for their unconditional services towards the hemophilia community Women’s empowerment. The audience actively participated through out the program and urged to hold more such awareness & educational programs so that together we can fight against hemophilia.
