New Bowling Coach Damien Wright joins Punjab Kings
BE, Kolkata :: Based in Chandigarh one of the eight inaugural franchises of the Indian Premier League, Punjab Kings (previously Kings XI Punjab) is owned by a consortium of prominent industry figures like Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman, Preity G Zinta, and Karan Paul. Recently this Punjab Kings announced the appointment of Damien Wrightas the new bowling coach for the upcoming edition of the IPL.The former cricketer was also head coach of the Bangladesh U-19 cricket team and will help support the Punjab Kings squad under the guidance of Head Coach and Director of Cricket Operations, Anil Kumble.
Damien Wright, Bowling Coach, Punjab Kings said, “I am delighted to come on board as bowling coach for Punjab Kings. The team looks great and there is tremendous potential in this squad and I look forward to working alongside an amazing support staff team this season of the IPL.”
